Complex machine systems and autonomous robots
Our mission is to conduct research in close cooperation with industry in the area of intelligent machines and systems. The objective is to create new knowledge in the area mechatronics and mechanical engineering which can be applied in real products and processes and also to be published in high level scientific journals and conferences.
The typical industrial and application areas of our research are machine building industry, mining industry, military and manufacturing industry.
Research focus and goals
The research profile of MRG is based on four expertise areas in the context of complex machine systems: Modelling and simulation, Verication, Testing, Piloting; Design and Analysis; and Knowledge-based Data Analytics & Application of AI Methods. The main research areas are
