Psychophysiology laboratory
The psychophysiology laboratory is an electrically shielded and sound insulated space where one can conduct controlled experiments with human participants while measuring various physiological signals such as skin conductivity, pulse, electromyography, and even EEG. The typical research setup is that participant undergo various stimulations by means of, text, images, videos or audio while their physiology is measured. Pre and post questionnaires are used to connect the physiological signals to experiences and behavior to investigate hypotheses on Human Technology Interaction. However, the infrastructure enables similar research in many other topics as well.
