The research project explores and analyzes investigative journalists’ perceptions of work-related risks, and security practices that journalists utilize to mitigate them. The key aspects of the study are physical safety, information security, and source protection.
The cross-national research project will be carried out in three European countries: Finland, Estonia, and the Czech Republic.
In Finland, the research is conducted by Postdoctoral Research Fellow Ilmari Hiltunen.
