Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud project aims to build cloud-based solutions for users of SSH data.
Goal
The intention is to move from the current decentralised digital research infrastructure to an advanced cloud ecosystem. The new ecosystem will enable data sharing following the FAIR principles, development and provision of tools throughout research lifecycle, and training provision across different fields.
The Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives, CESSDA, coordinates the SSHOC project, and 47 organisations participate in the work.
The Finnish Social Science Data Archive is closely involved in work packages focussing on data and metadata interoperability and trust and quality assurance.
