Curricula and teaching schedules
At Tampere University, curricula are designed for three-years periods. However, the curricula for the academic years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 were, exceptionally, decided upon on an annual basis.
Where can I find the curricula?
The curricula and teaching schedules can be found on Sisu and the Student’s Guide. The two systems are used in different ways and for different purposes.
In the Sisu system, you draft your personal study plan (PSP), enrol in teaching and keep tabs on the progress of your studies. Through the Student’s Guide you have easy access to the curricula and the teaching schedules of the entire University, and you can filter the course offerings in various ways. Furthermore, it is easier to filter all possible free-choice course units and study modules in the Student's guide.
The curricula for 2021-2024 and teaching schedules for the academic year 2023-2024
The curricula and teaching schedules of all studies as of the academic year 2020-2021 can be found on both Sisu and the Student’s Guide.

Expiry of studies
In principle, study modules, study units, theses, maturity tests, language proficiency attainments and postgraduate study attainments completed during studies do not expire and are counted towards the degree in their original scope.
Faculty councils may issue further grounds for the validity and expiry of completed study attainments.
More information on the rules applied to transition periods is available from the page Correspondence of old Studies
