Tampere University Student's Handbook

Preliminary study plan for exchange students

A preliminary study plan is a requirement of the exchange application to Tampere University and exchange applicants make it only for guidance at this stage. The new curriculum for the autumn semester of the next academic year is usually published in the summer, so the preliminary study plan may have to be based on the previous year's curriculum. The new curriculum for the spring semester is usually published in the late autumn of the same academic year. Your study field at Tampere University should also reflect your academic background from your home university.

Please note that approval of your preliminary study plan at the time of application does not guarantee that you will be admitted to any courses. You must register for courses in the Sisu information system closer to the start of the semester, after you have completed your registration with the university and activated your TUNI account

The preliminary study plan in your exchange application is not the official Erasmus+ Learning Agreement and therefore we do not require any signatures from your home universities.
