Alumni Studies

Open Higher Education

You have the possibility to develop your skills in open higher education.

Professional Specialisation Studies

Professional specialisation studies are extensive continuing education programmes based on an applicable higher education degree. The studies are not degree awarding. The extent of the specialisation studies is 30-60 credits, and you can be complete them alongside work. At the moment, professional specialisation studies are offered only in Finnish.

Vocational Teacher Education

TAMK's School of Vocational Teacher Education organises vocational teacher education for university of applied science, vocational institution and adult education centre teachers. The education also gives the pedagogical qualifications for other teachers. The extent of the education is 60 credits, and you can complete it alongside work in 1.5 - 2 years.

Extension Studies

The length of the versatile extension studies varies from a couple of days to a year or two.

Doctoral Studies

The application process takes place through the university’s doctoral programmes.
