Learning Outcomes

After compliting the course student is able to: -define the different parties of the building project, the main stages of the progress and the designers' tasks in the project -understand the planning process as a whole and is able to analyse it and perceive the dependences of planning solutions at different stages of the project -explain the contents of general project documents and understand their significance from the point of view of the wholeness of the project -knows the different realisation models of a building project and the different contract forms -identify the procedures which are related to the management of planning and self-management -understand the significance of the cooperation as well as the communication and knowledge management in the building project -describe the factors which are related to the resource allocation and scheduling of the planning stage and is able to perceive the main features of using the building information model -have a basic knowledge of the costs of the construction management, the design and planning stage and the constructing stage and how the costs are divided into the different stages of the building project -know the requirement classes of the planning tasks of buildings and the related designers' required qualifications
