Description

Prerequisite: BMT-73206 Biodegradaple Polymers course.

During the course we will be studying behavior and hydrolytic degradation process with different co-polymers. This will include e.g. mechanical testing for the material properties and DSC for the thermal properties during the degradation process.

Laboratory days are every week either on Mondays and Fridays, depending on which group you are working with. Lab hours are typically between 10AM to 3PM depending on the amount of tasks for particular week.

As an addition for the weekly lab days we will have 4 additional lectures/learning events.

Accepted laboratory work, results reported as a poster presentation and laboratory report.

This course is "highly recommended / mandatory" for all students who want to do their MSc thesis with BioMediTech research groups at the Hervanta campus.
