Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, the student is able to describe the major applications of lasers and analyze the link between the laser properties and application performance. Further, student is able to identify state-of-the-art industrial developments in different application fields of lasers.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes

The grade is determined based on weekly homework assignments (30 %), project work (30 %), and the final exam (40%). Good activity and performance at lectures and with weekly assignments and the project work will give a good background for the exam helps in achieving a good grade.
