FYS-5726 Fourier Optics, 5 cr
Implementation FYS-5726 2019-01
Description
The course describes optical effects and systems from the wave-optical viewpoint. Most of the effects can be understood through the connection between the diffractive propagation of light and mathematical Fourier transforms. Basics of holography and coherence theory are also discussed.
