Description

After completing the course, the student will be able to recognize the research potential and opportunities of the research community participating the course. The student will learn how to apply various research methods (both experimental and computational) employed by the fellow students and research scientists in the field of optoelectronics. During the course, the student will learn how to assess the impact of different research approaches to his/hers research. The student will master the skills required to present and defend his/her research achievements by participating in tutorial learning sessions (teams of 4-6 students) based on the shared expertise of the team members. The student will also master the skills required to report the results of the learning assignments using online learning management system. This course is based on a blended learning method with 'flipped classroom' type of activities, so please bring your laptop/tablet/smart phone to the learning sessions.
