Learning Outcomes
The course will be a continuation of organic chemistry 1 (OC1). After learning about the different functional groups, nomenclature and fundamental properties in OC1, the students will learn about their reactivity in this course. After completion of the course, students will know the most common reactions of the most common functional groups and will be able to design syntheses of small organic molecules. This course also aims to support other more advanced organic chemistry courses.
