Learning Outcomes
Student knows theory and principles involved in multidomain system and mechanism simulation and can apply this knowledge in simple simulation tasks. Student knows theory and practices of interfacing system and mechanism simulation tools with other CAE/CAD tools and is able to apply knowledge in simple engineering tasks. Student is able to apply finite element analysis in simple engineering tasks in co-operation with other CAD/CAE tools. Student knows the basic concepts of product data management (PDM). Student is able to use the PDM system for collaborative engineering. Student is able to model product family structures and implement the models in PDM and CAD systems.
