Learning Outcomes

After the course, the student is able to apply and use the substance knowledge of his/her studies in a real life problem solving. After the course, the student is able to participate in a professional role in a project team that creates a demo or a prototype of a product, service or other innovation, using agile development practices, design and product research methods. Team working skills are especially emphasized as the course comprises of an assignment carried out by a cross-disciplinary and international team comprising of students with different backgrounds and skill sets. By writing a project report the student will learn to summarize, rationalize and explain the findings and ideas developed during the project. Oral presentation skills will also be learned as the students present and explain their findings during the course. A report on hours spent gives the students vital information of the time resource and it's use.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes

- Active participation of the student to the whole process - Delivery of the required documents, presentations and a demo or a prototype.

Assessment scale:

Evaluation scale passed/failed will be used on the course

Partial passing:

Completion parts must belong to the same implementation

Additional information about prerequisites
It is required that before starting the project work necessary prerequisite theoretical knowledge on the topic has been acquired. Hence, the student should have a thorough understanding of his/her major before attending to the course. The course is for the master level students.
