Objectives

- Antaa seikkaperäinen kuva terveydenhuoltoalalla käytettävistä informaatiojärjestelmistä.
- Johdattaa lääketieteellisen päätöksenteon menetelmiin ja tukijärjestelmiin.
- Perehtyä potilasta kuvaavan tiedon luokittelu-, käsittely- ja analysointimenetelmiin, erityisesti lääketieteellisten signaalien ja kuvien käsittelyyn ja analysointiin.
- Selvittää terveydenhuollossa ja lääketieteessä syntyvän ja käsiteltävän tiedon ja informaation erityispiirteitä.
