Additional information

Medical instrumentation is a core area where various engineering disciplines are applied in medicine. It requires an understanding of the underlying biological systems of the human body so as to be able to interface it with diagnostic recording and imaging as well as therapeutic devices. In this study module, your knowledge is deepened especially in human bioelectric phenomena and their recording and modeling. Minor subjects that support the medical instrumentation major include Biomaterials, Biomeasurements, Computational Systems Biology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Management, Mathematics, Micromachines, and Signal Processing. Biomedical Engineering is not allowed as a minor subject for this major.
