Learning Outcomes

After the course the student has a grasp of some of the most influential or innovative urban planning ideas throughout history, as expressed in certain chosen classic readings. The student has been able to analyze the ideas expressed in one or some of the books in an essay/research paper, from a contemporary viewpoint.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes

Active participation in lectures/introductions, weekly readings, sessions of discussions. Evaluation is based on a written essay/research paper and participation in the discussions.
