Lecture material consists of journal articles chosen by the teacher. Every second year the topics have the emphasis on industrial environmental biotechnology (2016), alternating with industrial molecular biotechnology (2015).

Full participation to the lectures. Each participant prepares oral presentations of selected scientific articles.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation

Learning Outcomes

After passing the course, the student is able to read scientific articles with required criticism and extract the relevant key points of the text and discuss them. He/she will get an overview of the newest trends in biotechnology. During the course, the student learns to summarize scientific articles in form of presentations, and respectively, listen and question presentations prepared by other students.
