Learning Outcomes

In synthetic biology biological systems are built by using standardized components. During the course a student or a group of students will plan a new biosystem exploiting components available at the part registries. The working principle of the built bio-system will be introduced to the course teacher by a written report. In the report, the biocomponents, construction and the experimental set are presented. After passing the course the student can independently design a biological system using synthetic biology tools.
