Kurssin päätyttyä opiskelija ymmärtää aiempaa pidempiä kokonaisuuksia suomen kieltä tutuista aihepiireistä. Opiskelija kykenee olemaan aloitteellinen viestintätilanteissa ja hallitsee arkisen kielenkäytön sanastoa. By the end of the course, student will be able to understand longer stretches of Finnish on familiar topics, take the initiative in everyday communication situations, and will gain a firm command of the vocabulary needed for daily interaction.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes
Opiskelijan kielitaidon kehitystä seurataan kurssin aikana. Opiskelija saa tietoa kielitaidon kehityksestä pienten kielitaitotestien avulla. The development of student's language skills is followed during the course. Student will receive information about the development of his or her language proficiency through small tests.
