Learning Outcomes

After the course the student can explain what is multi-cultural design and how one can make sure that a product fits to different cultures. The student can define what culture as a concept means, what kind of levels of culture there are, how cultures differ from each other and how they affect on interaction with products. The student can explain different approaches and methods related to multi-cultural design. One can communicate with representatives of different cultures and study their needs and expectations of technology.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes

40% of the grade is determined by the exercise work, 60% by the examination. The grade of the exercise can be raised by participating in the discussion session of the results of the exercise. The acceptance limit in the examination is half of the maximum points or more.

Numerical evaluation scale (1-5) will be used on the course
