Learning outcomes

To react to interpreting situations naturally. To have an idea of relaying the message in interpreted communication situations, to have a concept of own motivation and facilities to interpret dialogue. To produce correct, clear and accurate speech. To improve association speed, memory and consecutive technique.

Contents

Acting as an interpreter and as someone whose speech is being interpreted, and discussing the interpreting and the relaying of the message from the point of view of these roles. The procedures of (dialogue) interpreting: preparation, influencing and adjusting to situations, defining questions and rotation of turns. Practicing public speaking and pressure control in class and in the field.

Modes of study

Active participation in all parts, qualitatively and quantitatively adequate interpreting, learning journal.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by interpreting exercises and learning journal.
