About me

I'm a visiting doctoral researcher from the Communication University of China (CUC). My research interests include audiovisual translation, fandom, and affect. My ongoing PhD dissertation deals with affect in fan translation practice from the sociological perspective, with ethnography as the primary method.

As a member of the China National Social Science Major Research Project "General History of Film Translation in China" (grant number: 20&ZD313, 2020--2025), I'm also conducting research on the history of film dubbing for ethnic minorities in China.
