About me
I am University Lecturer in English literature, with a range of teaching and supervision duties. In much of my own research, I investigate literature and other forms of culture from spatial perspectives. Specific areas of expertise include American literature, postmodernism, landscape studies, city fiction, literary naturalism and the grotesque. I am one of the editors of the Palgrave Macmillan series Literary Urban Studies.
