The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is a guide to the meaning, history, and usage of 500,000 words and phrases past and present, from across the English-speaking world. OED is updated four times a year to include revisions to existing entries as well as add new words.

The new site has the following improvements:
- Improved site functionality, including clearer navigation
- New entry layout, making information easier to find and understand
- Enhanced accessibility compliance with industry standards (WCAG)
- Increased discoverability ensuring OED content is easy to find via search engines
