KAT.VAST.202 Business ethics (Yritysetiikka) Lectures 5 ECTS 5.9.-10.10.2024 This is a lecture course. Lectures will be held on Thursdays from 8-12 at Tampere University city campus. The lectures are not streamed or recorded.&nbsp;Students are required to participate to the lectures and complete the course in English.&nbsp;The grading consists of a learning diary written in pairs, two short individual papers and active participation. In addition, students will do two smaller group works which require preparation in groups.&nbsp;

The student comprehends what business ethics and corporate responsibility are about and why they are important. The student knows ethical theories and understands the ethical dimensions and the significance of stakeholders in business decision-making. The student is able to identify and apply tools to improve ethical practices in business. The student is able to take responsibility for the study processes and time management, participate in group discussions and present and reflect the results of the course work.
