Study Innovation Management Globally
Tampere University is part of the consortium offering the Global Technology and Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship joint Master's Degree (GTIME) program. The first year of this two-year Master program of 120 ECTS is taught at Hamburg University of Technology in Germany. The first year focuses on providing a general understanding of innovation and technology management, on which the specialisations in the second year are built upon. With the start of the second year, the students move to their preferred partner university each characterized by a certain specification which deepens the core qualification by distinct modules.
At Tampere University students will have the opportunity to specialise in Value-Driven Technology Business Development. The courses offered at Tampere University will have value creation, value quantification, value communication and value capture as common factors. They will provide solid understanding how organizations create, quantify, communicate and capture value successfully in various contexts and how to apply this knowledge creatively in various organizational contexts.
The degree programme educates business development professionals capabilities required in global business networks and, in particular, in the interface between different cultures, something highly valued in today’s global business world.
