For example, studying intermediate studies may require some completed basic studies. These are described on the Information about studies tab of the study unit under prior requirements.When you have been admitted to the studies, you must enrol separately via the Sisu information system for the implementation of the unit of study and, for example if set, for a practise group of your choice. You will receive instructions on how to do this by e-mail after you have confirmed your acceptance of the study place by paying the required fee.

<ul><li>HIS-A03 Intermediate studies in history (for students of other degree programmes)</li><li>HIS-A04</li></ul>

The course will consist of interactive, flipped-classroom lectures, with assigned readings of articles and primary material (either 2 short articles or one short article and one form of primary material (max. 20 pages in total)). Throughout, students will create a learning diary with medievalisms and definitions of concepts. The final assignment consists of presentations in small groups in the last class (preceded by group work); these presentations will pool learning diaries and engage with the literature provided.
