Learning Outcomes

After completing the New Electronics Materials and Manufacturing laboratory assignments the student is able to: - analyze the reliability and environmental aspects of electronic devices - demonstrate the operating principle of printed supercapacitors, measure the key phenomena of supercapacitors and draw conclusions of the measurement results - work in a cleanroom, demonstrate the inkjet printing of conductive materials, measure the key phenomena of printed electronics and draw conclusions of the measurement results - write scientific reports After completing the Equipment Engineering laboratory assignments the student is able to: - design, implement and test a linear DC power supply - program a FPGA device - measure radiated and conducted emissions of an electronic device - write scientific reports

1. Reliability and environmental aspects of electronic products.      
2. The operating principle of printed supercapacitors, materials and cyclic voltammetry measurement.      
3. Printed electronics processes and measuring the printed structures. Working in a cleanroom.     
4. The structure and programming of embedded systems. Programming of programmable logic.      
5. The structure and measurements of power supplies. Operational amplifier circuits and properties.      
6. EMC issues. EMC standards and measurements.      
7. Practical design and construction.     

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes

The final grade of the course is determined based on the grades of the laboratory assignments. The grades of the laboratory assignments are weighted according to the credits of the assignment.

Numerical evaluation scale (0-5)

Partial passing:

Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
