Learning Outcomes

This course aims to familiarize the students with area of sourcing and supply management. In addition, the study provides understanding on selected contemporary topics such as sourcing business services, value creation in buyer ¿ supplier relationships, sustainability in supply chains and emergency purchasing. After participating in this course the students: Understand the significance and basic contents of the area of sourcing and supply management. Know the approaches and models to support sourcing of different types of goods and services in different industries. Can identify special characteristics of contemporary challenges in sourcing and supply management. Are able to apply their knowledge in practical challenges in sourcing and supply management. Have practiced team working and project management skills in the group works done in the course.
