Learning Outcomes

- The student
- understands the basics of optics and photonics
-define and explain the physics governing optics and photonics;
-apply optics and photonics to a range of problems;
-use the tools, methodologies, language and conventions of optics and photonics to test and communicate ideas and explanations;
- continually enhances his/her skills on fundamental phenomena related to optics and photonics
- can solve basic problems and tasks in optics and photonics and draw conclusions
- is able to perform basic optics and photonics experiments
- can communicate written and oral on fundamentals of optics and photonics
- is familiar with the principles of sound optics and photonics practice and acts accordingly
