Learning Outcomes
- | Maisteriopinnot matematiikassa suoritettuaan opiskelija ymmärtää matematiikan merkityksen tieteenalana ja hallitsee eri matematiikan osa-alueita. Hän kykenee ratkaisemaan vaativia matemaattisia ongelmia ja soveltamaan matematiikan teorioita käytännössä. Opiskelijalla on valmiudet syventää osaamistaan matematiikassa omatoimisesti. Opinnot suoritettuaan hänellä on hyvä pohja jatkaa opintoja yliopistossa tai toimia vaativissa asiantuntijatehtävissä.
After graduating in master degree in mathematics, the student understands the significance of mathematics as a discipline and he has mastered several areas of mathematics. He is able to solve demanding mathematical problems and apply mathematical theories in practice. The student has the skills to deepen his / her competence in mathematics independently. Having completed the studies, he/ she has a good foundation to continue studying at a university or to engage in demanding expert tasks. |
