More support for information searching? Participate in a workshop!
Students of Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences can participate in the information searching workshops organised by the library. You need to have completed the information searching training required for your degree studies before attending the workshop.
In the information searching workshops you can
- search for background material for your thesis in a guided way
- learn how to find reliable and up-to-date information
- refresh your knowledge on information searching techniques.
Remote and local information searching workshops are held on Thursdays at 15–16 and Fridays at 8.15–9.15. See the dates here.

Library's subject guides offer comprehensive collections of e-articles, e-books and print materials in your field. The information searching guide supports self-study. There you can find tips on choosing search terms, information sources and evaluating search results.
Remote access to e-resources from outside Tampere Universities is possible by using HAKA login > select Tampereen korkeakoulut - Tampere universities as home organisation > use TUNI username to login.
