Uuden Maan Sanomat: Reviiri
Uuden Maan Sanomat: Reviiri is a performative photo reportage magazine made duringphotojournalist Touko Hujanen's reportage workshop by Tampere University's Visual Journalism students. It explores and challenges different ways of approaching photo reportage as a photojournalistic genre. After both aimless exploring and persistent work, a common territory “reviiri” was found.
Uuden Maan Sanomat: Reviiri edition is made by:
Ville Maali, Anni Savolainen, Tatu Vornanen, Kim-Linda Nguyen, Sini Lukka, Laura Ukkonen, Carolina Husu, Hanna Maunuksela ja Juha-Pekka Huotari.
Editor-in-chief is photojournalist Touko Hujanen and the managing editor is University Instructor Elias Lahtinen.
Fragments
Fragments is a collection of artworks by five students of the Fine Art study path in the Media & Arts degree programme in Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK): Yu-Hsuan Yao, Aliisa Isohanni, Saija Kalliojärvi, Sami Sakari, and Riitta Santala-Köykkä. Exhibited are both video works and photographs that all deal with different aspects of a person's relationship with the surrounding world. How do we react to the changes within it, and what might we do to change it ourselves, when change is necessary?
Welcome to the openings of these photo exhibitions by Tampere University's Visual Journalism students and Tampere University of Applied Sciences' Fine Art students at the Photographic Centre Nykyaika on Wednesday 23 May at 5 pm!
