Reminder: Go Global! The autumn application round for exchange studies in North America and Africa in 2025-26 is 1 - 15 November 2024
Why study in the United States, Canada, Tanzania, or South Africa?
The United States, Finland’s most important trading partner, is renowned for its world-class universities and diverse culture across different states. Studying in the U.S. can enhance your English skills, introduce you to the unique small talk culture, and provide access to top-notch courses and stunning campuses. Additionally, you can network, which can be valuable for future career opportunities. Canada also offers a unique multicultural environment where you can enjoy high-quality universities, a hockey-loving nation, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Due to geographical reasons, the economies of Finland and Canada operate largely in similar fields, so studying in Canada can also open doors to international career opportunities. Tanzania offers the chance to explore Africa’s rich culture and biodiversity. Studying in Tanzania can provide unique insights into development studies, environmental sciences, and sustainable community development. At the same time, it offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in a completely different society, where you will grow immensely as a person. South Africa is known for its dynamic culture and historical significance. Studying in Stellenbosch can provide in-depth knowledge of the country’s complex history and contemporary society. The Stellenbosch area is incredibly beautiful and a much safer wine-producing region compared to the capital. Additionally, our South African partner university offers a wide range of unique and high-quality courses.
