Who will be TAMK Alumnus or Alumna of the Year 2024?

Time has come to nominate the next TAMK Alumnus or Alumna of the Year. The call for nominations is open 2.-30.4.2024 and possible candidates can be put forward by TAMK staff, students and alumni, as well as other TAMK enthusiasts. We hope to receive nominations from a wide range of fields and eras, both in Finland and abroad.
Alumni of the Year award is given annually to an alumnus or alumna of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (or Pirkanmaa University of Applied Sciences) who positively uses his/her educational knowledge in working life, promotes cooperation between TAMK and society and serves as a source of inspiration for other alumni and students.
Criteria for TAMK Alumnus/Alumna of the Year:
- is a graduate from TAMK or PIRAMK (in 1992 or after)
- has actively fostered cooperation between TAMK, its alumni networks and society as a whole
- has demonstrated notable achievements in his/her field of expertise
- has made a societal impact within Finland and/or abroad
- personifies TAMK’s values and enhances its reputation in society.

TAMK Alumni Council will choose the Alumni of the Year and the recipient will be announced during the national Alumni Month in October 2024.
TAMK Alumni of the Year will be selected for the sixth time now. The title is currently held by Antti Kalliomäki, an Electrical Systems Engineering Expert who graduated from TAMK in 2011.
