In new projects funded by the Academy of Finland, special attention must be paid to the selection of the scientific journal so that it meets the Academy's requirements for open access and Plan S compliance. Come and find out what Plan S-compliant journals are and how to ensure compliance.
The Library organizes an online training on the Academy of Finland’s policy on open access to scientific publications and what it means for scientific journals to be Plan S compliant on 22 November at 13.15-14.00. You will also learn about the Journal Checker Tool and how to verify Plan S compliance using different sources.
The training is especially aimed at researchers working in new Academy of Finland projects (which have received a positive funding decision in calls opened after 1.1.2021) but the training is open to all members of the Tampere Higher Education Community. The training will be in English.
