The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2024 Call
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) belong to the Horizon Europe framework programme. Postdoctoral Fellowship (PF) is one of the MSCA’s main funding actions enabling 1–3,5 years long individual projects in Europe (European Fellowship) or other countries (Global Fellowship). MSCA PF is for postdoctoral researchers coming from another country than the hosting institution is located. The call is aimed at promising researchers with a purpose to promote their career development. This action provides opportunities both within academia and other sectors. At Tampere University’s Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (ENS), we have strong basic natural science research as well as applied research in the fields of automation, mechanical engineering, robotics, materials, and environmental engineering, which creates a significant added value to our industrial partners and society. Tampere University (TAU, www.tuni.fi/en) has a longstanding experience in MSCA actions. We make a substantial effort in MSCA PF calls and have achieved high success rates over the years. We are preparing now for the 2024 call which is expected to have a deadline of September 11, 2024.
Support for proposal writing - Masterclass 2024
All accepted MSCA PF candidates have an opportunity to participate MSCA PF Masterclass 2024 organized by Research and Innovation Services at TAU. Masterclass takes place in May-June, starting on 14 May 2024. The Masterclass consists of practical advice, training, coaching and individual feedback for MSCA PF proposals. This Teams based Masterclass is highly recommended for all MSCA PF applicants.

Several research groups at the ENS faculty are currently looking for postdoctoral researchers to actively co-develop successful applications towards the MSCA PF call of 2024.

We are connecting you to the potential supervisor to discuss your plans and your suitability to ENS’s research profile after you have sent us your expression of interest.
